CelebrateWhat?com came to fruition in the blink of an eye. To be specific, it was a few moments after I waved “Hi!” to my garbageman one morning while driving by the garbage truck. I smiled as I thought that there should be holiday for the under-appreciated. This site is the response to that thought.

I openly declare my birthday (October 20th) as National Sanitation Worker Appreciation Day! Make sure to give your Garbage Guy/Gal a hug that day (or maybe some cookies)! Go ahead, mark it on your calendar. Go on. I’ll wait. Thanks.
